Throughout his career, Dr. Saf has always been an avid sportsman, dedicating much of his life to athletic pursuits before choosing to follow his true passion—dentistry. When he’s not at the clinic, you’ll likely find him on a hiking trail or enjoying a game of tennis.

Dr. Saf’s passion for prevention is rooted in his commitment to patient education and linking oral health with overall well-being. This dedication led him to pursue advanced studies, earning a Master’s degree in Advanced Aesthetic Solutions from King’s College. There, he gained cutting-edge skills, but the key takeaway for him was always to listen to the patient, plan for contingencies, and focus on prevention.

A dedicated collaborator, Dr. Saf has worked closely with esteemed organizations such as the World Health Organization, the American Cancer Society, and the Australian Dental Association. He has also been involved in community-driven initiatives like “Giving Back a Smile” and “Adopt a Patient,” programs that reflect his strong ethos of giving back to the community. His passion for helping others extends beyond dental care, mentoring younger professionals and being a steadfast advocate for positive change.

Dr. Saf’s academic achievements reflect his commitment to excellence. He graduated as the best in his class during his Bachelor’s and earned honours in his Master’s degree. His pursuit of knowledge continues as he is currently undertaking a Master’s in Sleep Medicine at Oxford University, with a focus on drawing connections between sleep, oral health, and holistic health principles. He has also worked with institutions like MIT and Harvard on an AI and healthcare program, further exploring innovative ways to improve patient care.

In his practice, Dr. Saf lives by the principles of “Less is more,” emphasizing the stability and maintenance of oral health through prevention. His patient-focused approach and passion for education inspire people to take control of their health, one smile at a time

She is driven by a simple philosophy: helping her patients achieve a healthy, beautiful smile they can carry with pride. Dr. Aakriti is deeply committed to staying at the forefront of modern dental technology and education. In addition to regularly attending professional development courses, she has completed a Graduate Diploma in Digital Orthodontics, giving her the advanced technical expertise and knowledge required to tackle complex clear aligner cases.

Dr Aakriti understands that visiting the dentist can be a nerve-wracking experience. Her ultimate goal is to ensure every patient receives high-quality, precise treatment in a genuinely relaxed and reassuring atmosphere. Her compassion extends well beyond the dental chair. She has previously volunteered her time in Fiji and India, traveling through remote, underserved areas as part of a dedicated medical and dental team to provide essential care to those who needed it most.

Away from the clinic, Dr. Aakriti’s young family keeps her happily on her toes. In her downtime, she enjoys doing Pilates, cooking, and creating memories travelling with family.

Yuen’s approach towards dentistry is patient-focused, and about getting to the root of the problem – not just patching things up. This includes a strong emphasis on patient education, and focusing on the way our oral health is connected to our general and mental health and well-being. He is an avid believer in holistic health and the link between the mouth and the entire body – with a particular focus on airways and correct breathing techniques. 

In his spare time, Yuen likes to bake and play board games with close friends, and spends most weekends at the Badminton centre in South Hobart having a hit. When the Tassie weather permits, and when the water isn’t too cold, he has also recently been introduced to the wonders of scuba diving, and endeavours to get out to the water as often as he can.
